Demonstrations and Workshops

How do Native Americans carry on the legacy of their ancestors? What skills, stories and songs are passed along from generation to generation? What qualities and traditions unite members from different tribes and which ones make each tribe so compellingly unique?

Indian Summer Festival offers a rare opportunity to glimpse into the multifaceted world of Native Americans, as members of many different tribes come together to share and display their rich and diverse history and culture.

See live demonstrations of traditional skills such as beadwork, finger weaving, bow and arrow making, corn husk doll making, pottery, carving, basket weaving and more.
