East Meets West

You can see visit East Meets West Settlement all weekend long at the Miller Lite Stage located on the Indian Summer grounds.

East Meets West is a life-like and hands-on comparison between Eastern and Western Native American tribes (Eastern: Creek and Western: Comanche) from prior contact lifestyles to the 1800's.  This special encampment includes reenactments told in a theatrical style that children love and many adults find entertaining.
 

   
East Meets West is comprised of several performers: Jim Sawgrass (Southeastern Creek), Little Big Mountain (Southern Plains Comanche), and storytelling by Theresa Big Mountain.

Children will love being up close and personal to a real campsite environment including a furnished teepee, wilderness animal hides and even a giant stuffed alligator!
